I’ve always drawn as far as I can remember and creating is big part of who I am. Art has always subjugated me, calmed me and it is the thing I have done the most in my life.But I started painting in 1995 at the age of 15, with Acrylics on wood and canvases. I’ve played with many more medias and supports since, but I’ve worked on Illustration or Watercolor Paper for the past years, using Watercolors of all types, Traditional and Tattoo Inks, many types of Pencils and Acrylics, most often mixing them all. I have been working with mix media for a long time now.Whenever I get asked what my style is or what I paint, I do find it difficult to explain, like many artist, but I would qualify it as “Outsider art” in that I have pursued Art in a quasi self-taught manner since the beginning, but I would also describe it Figurative, Illustrative and Surrealist… I’ve always wanted to create and explore on my own.
